American Steel currently has long-term contracts to process, market, and transport post combustion ferrous metals with: Wheelabrator, North Broward, Pompano Beach, Florida; Wheelabrator, South Broward, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Waste Management Pompano Beach, Florida; Wheelebrator, Hudson Falls, New York; Woodward, OK; Babylon NY; Boyertown PA; Dominica West Indies.
American Steel started up five rail loading operations since 2002. These sites are served by a fleet of 123 rail cars dedicated to hauling only American Steel controlled products. Post incinerated ferrous metal is brought by truck to the rail siding. The metal is either direct or batch loaded with an electromagnetic crane into waiting rail cars. The loaded rail cars, carrying 75-100 tons each, are then brought to mini mills to be processed into new products.

American Steel Processing Company currently loads and ships from five rail sites servicing seven waste-to-energy facilities. ASPCO is currently handling 4000 net tons per month and is a certified metals recovery operator in the state of Florida.
