The recyclable ferrous materials are transported to an American Steel Processing Company rail transloading depot (the depot) or container loading site. In the case of rail road car loading, ASPCO has its own gondola rail car fleet and our logistics personnel coordinate and monitor delivery of our rail cars to the depot as the trucks deliver the recyclable material. Generally, materials are loaded onto the railcars the same day in which they are delivered. From the rail siting depot the railcars are pulled out by the railroad company and we work with CSX, Conrail, Canadian Pacific, and Norfolk Southern Railroads to pull our cars to various customers where we sale the recycled metals. The consumers of these materials are generally steel mills which use the recyclable metals for melting and the manufacture of new steel products. In the case of container loading American Steel Processing Company would load sea-land exporting container which are delivered to a marine port for ship loading and sales overseas. American Steel Processing Company current ships from the ports of Miami, FL, Everglade, Ft. Lauderdale, Port Elizabeth in Newark, New Jersey, and Port of West Palm Beach, FL. American Steel Processing Company’s oversea offices are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
