American Steel Processing Company’s program for recycling waste-to-energy ferrous materials provides for processing the materials at the incinerator plant location (WTE). The processing at the WTE plant can include mechanical processing by magnetic or screening and is combined with loading the ferrous materials on to transfer trailers or container trucks using a crane with an electro-magnet. This processing performed at the WTE facility results in cleaning most of the ash residues from the ferrous materials and as a result we only transport the “mechanically cleaned” recyclable ferrous material from the WTE plants.
